So the proposal... We were up in Snowbird for the night because Cj's parents got us a room there for my birthday. I was so excited to have a mini vaca, and honestly a proposal never even crossed my mind.. until dinner. Cj was acting extremely weird, and I honestly thought he was being rude. We ate our dinner in about 20 minutes, he sat on his phone all dinner and would not talk to me. I was starting to get upset and still didn't really realize he was just acting like this because he was nervous. After dinner Cj and I were walking around outside for no reason.. he was just trying to show me the view (and find a place to propose) and it was FREEZING cold. After having summer weather in the valley for so long, 40 degrees felt like -100. I complained it was cold the whole time walking around like a brat (way to go tayv) until finally he just agreed to go back to the hotel room. On the way back he walked in front of me, kept his hands in his pockets the whole time and was just acting weird. Still didn't get it. Our hotel room was one of the highest floors and was canyon facing with a BEAUTIFUL view. We were just hanging out for a minute about to get ready to go hot tubing when Cj asked me to come by the window. It was at that moment it all clicked and I KNEW. I was freaking out, felt like I was going to throw up from excitement. He grabbed my hand and started to explain how he has known for a while I was the one he was going to marry, and he started to get emotional which got me all emotional. After a few minutes of the cutest proposal ever, he got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. There was absolutely NO hesitation on my part. Yes, yes and YES! I was so excited I could not even believe it. I still am giddy and smiley thinking about it. He is so good to me, he is such a gentlemen and does everything he can for me all the time. He is such a hard worker and so driven and motivated. He has fit into my family from day one, I have known for a long time he was the man I was going to marry. He is honestly just an amazing person and would do anything for anyone. I really feel I got one of the last good guys out there, sorry ladies. I could not be more proud to call him mine and to one day be able to call myself a Nordin. WEIRD! We also woke up the next morning to 6 inches of snow, it was beautiful. It was the best weekend ever. So perfect. Life is amazing, we are so blessed with so many around us who love and support us in everything we do. We are truly lucky.
Here are some pics from our weekend!
Until next time... xoxo
